What Is the ASVAB Practice Test?
The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a multiple-choice test used by all branches of the U.S. military to determine qualification for enlistment and job placement. Your ASVAB scores determine your AFQT percentile (which determines if you can enlist) and your line scores (which determine which military jobs you qualify for).
Our free ASVAB practice test mirrors the real CAT-ASVAB (Computer Adaptive Test) format used at MEPS. With 5,000+ questions across all 9 sections, you can practice as much as you need to feel confident on test day.
Who Should Take This Practice Test?
- Anyone preparing to enlist in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, or Space Force
- Students who want to explore military career options based on their aptitude
- Anyone retaking the ASVAB who wants to improve their score
- Recruiters looking for a free tool to help potential enlistees prepare
How Is the ASVAB Scored?
The ASVAB produces two types of scores: your AFQT score (a percentile from 1-99 based on Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, Word Knowledge, and Paragraph Comprehension) and composite/line scores used by each branch to qualify you for specific jobs (MOS, rating, or AFSC).
